Thanks to your support, we have been able to commit continuously to the improvement of the health and welbeing of African women since our foundation in 2007.
We look after these women wholeheartedly but in addition we want to make a tangible difference through our expertise and efficiency, transparency and durability.
Our work in DRC is aimed at looking after women who suffer from genital fistula, a horrible complication after a difficult delivery, which can result in social exclusion. The SOLFA-model consists of three integrated parts: restorative surgery, education, and most importantly, prevention using the motto ' accoucher en sécurité, notre priorité ( giving birth in safety, that is our priority).
Poor nutritoion, due to a shortage of protein intake, compromises human health, especially that of youg children. By runnig a modest local entreprise, which transforms soja, we seek to stimulate the cultivation fo soja and its human consumption. Our entreprise has a strong social character; we endeavour to improve accessibility to basic healthcare for all and we are working towards achieving financial independency of our social programs.
Through the ecofour (ecological ovens)-program in Rwanda, we are helping the poorest families to cook more economically and to have a lower more environmental impact.
